The Mars Explorer App was developed by Geronimo Villanueva and the Mars OSSE team at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. The app is undergoing active development and its current version should be only used for testing purposes.

The app stems from an ongoing collaboration across the center, and we thank the Technology and Research Investments office at NASA Goddard for their support.

The timekeeping algorithms used by the app are primarily based on those reported in Allison & McEwen (2000) and the globe render module employs the open-source d3 visualization library.
